Academic Year (Important Dates)
The academic year is divided into two semesters aligned with the two available intakes every year; summer semester and autumn semester. They can consequently be referred to as Semester 1 and Semester 2 of the respective year. However, all students have the flexibility of commencing classes irrespective of the stipulated dates below. Each semester consists of :
An active teaching period where students are taught.
A mid - semester break of 1 week where no active teaching takes place.
Swot Vac of one week before the commencement of examinations where it focuses on revision of all taught materials.
A semester break of approximately 1 month post completion of examinations.
** Bangladeshi students can commence their studies at any month of the academic year. Tuition fees are billed per month. Fees must be cleared on or before the 3rd of every month. Fees paid after 3rd will incur a late fee.
