These courses can be undertaken solely on their own or can be supplemented with your Edexcel studies. Under a specialist course, there are a number of subjects which must be completed. Subjects are referred to as units. A specialist course comprises of core units specific to the area of study being taught and there are slots for electives which can be undertaken to broaden your knowledge in a different area of study. Each unit is dedicated a specific number of credit points. The successful completion of all core units and electives in a specialist course earns you the knowledge, academic transcript detailing all the units undertaken, unit statements, certificates and the dedicated number of credit points. 

Some units are delivered by our own lecturers at ExFerva while some units are delivered by University Professors in lieu to the collaboration between ExFerva and the respective University. All our units incorporate assignments, formative and summative assessments throughout to provide detailed student performance reports. These may take the form of traditional exams or creative tasks. All of them provide opportunities to reinforce prior learning.
